Alana Barrett-Adkins the CEO and Artistic Director of Rock Alari Studios, LLC. She is an actress, writer, poet, performance artist, and recent graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts’ Theatre Program, where she trained at the Atlantic Acting Studio.  Alana most recently starred in Karl O’Brian Williams’ The Black That I Am, which was nominated for Outstanding Performance Art Production by the New York Innovative Theatre Awards.  Prior to this, Alana starred as Novelette in the international tour of Trey Anthony’s ‘Da Kink in My Hair, which headlined at the National Black Theater Festival in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  The production showcased in New York, North Carolina, Georgia and Toronto, Ontario Canada.  Alana also held a staged reading of her fourth full-length play, Women of Adonai for over 250 audience members in the Spring of 2015 and will have its first production in the summer of 2016. Giving all honor and praise to Jesus Christ her Lord and savior, Alana believes her work inspires and compels audiences to personally pursue God.  Alana’s prayer is that Christ use her to the full for His glory.
